Psychedelic Science Hour

Measuring the Ineffable: Can Science Capture Lived Experience?

🗓 November 12 • 11AM PST | 2PM EST | 20:00 CET

Some aspects of psychedelic experience can be studied, others must be felt. This session asks whether science can ever measure what is, by nature, ineffable.

Join Manesh Girn, PhD, Chloé Pronovost-Morgan, MD, and James W. Sanders, BSc exploring the intersection of science and lived experience. Join us live for the premiere of Psychedelic Science Hour.

What to expect

Step into a conversation where neuroscience, philosophy, and lived experience converge to explore how — or if — science can truly measure the ineffable. One hour. Infinite questions.

Experience a thoughtful dialogue that bridges research and reflection, blending scientific insight with human story to examine how we understand, quantify, and honor the mysteries of psychedelic experience.

Presented by Psychedelic Lived Experiences, a pioneering, patient-led initiative advancing lived experience expertise in psychedelic research, treatment, and policy.
